Homestead grew from our 35+ years of experience in healthcare administration through INDECS, our third-party administration company. Working closely with employers, providers, and claims data gave us a clear view of a growing problem: traditional PPO models were becoming increasingly expensive, complex, and difficult to sustain.

So we built a different approach. In 2016 we launched Homestead Smart Health Plans, a complete solution for employers that delivers 25-30% savings on average combined with greater transparency, control, and support.
